Our Give It Forward Initiative converts money spent in local businesses into community vouchers that can be exchanged for things that people in the area need.
Community vouchers support local businesses by building customer loyalty and stronger community relationships, as well as helping those in need.
People have used their community vouchers to get essential fruit and veg, much-needed hot drinks, haircuts and self-care, books for children to read, and much, much more.

How it works
Sign up
Local businesses sign up to Give It Forward. You can join the value exchange scheme, the loyalty card scheme, or both!
Shop
Customers do their shopping as usual and when they arrive at the till, they can collect loyalty points and/or buy vouchers
Collect
Customers collect points on their loyalty card and the cash value of the loyalty points is converted into community vouchers
and/or
Buy
Customers buy one extra item of their choice and the cash value of this item is converted into community vouchers
Share
Community vouchers are given to local people, who can exchange them for the things they want and need from local businesses
How it helps
Give it forward is an easy way to make a difference to the people around you while supporting local business.
Business owners can do their bit for the community with minimal extra costs or admin, while customers can help those in need as part of their normal shopping habits.
Community vouchers provide an easy and safe alternative to cash donations. People who receive community vouchers are too often told to just be grateful for what they’re given; we want to make sure they have freedom of choice.
An amazing range of local businesses have signed up Give It Forward, from cafes and grocery shops, to barbers and book shops, pet shops, toy shops and many more!
